SUMMARY:Connecting Moms and Kids to Medicaid Transportation
DESCRIPTION:Do you help patients access Medicaid transportation?\n\nFLOURISH\, along with Medicaid managed care companies and transportation brokers\, will host listening sessions to increase awareness of Medicaid transportation policies and protocols and cultivate information sharing to learn what is working and how things can be improved. The goals of this session include: \n\nIdentifying protocols and sharing information on local resources to support families that need car seats\nIncreasing awareness of non-emergency medical transportation policies and protocols for pregnant women and children covered under Medicaid Managed Care\nCultivating two-way sharing of information to learn what is working\, what can still be improved and reflect on changes that have been made\n\nIf you are a community health worker\, patient navigator\, social worker\, community referral coordinator\, user of Medicaid transportation or someone who helps people access healthcare\, please join us in sharing your experiences to help moms and babies get the care they need and deserve. \nA meal will be provided and transportation and childcare are available.
