SUMMARY:Home Visitation Collaborative Fishbowl Summit
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE: Due to precautions regarding coronavirus\, this event is postponed. We will provide updated information when a new date is selected.  \nThis event will bring together organizations that provide home visitation services with FLOURISH’s home visitation consumer advisory board to build relationships and begin to develop a model where consumers and providers co-design home visitation programs that are family-centered. \nThis event invites participation from organizations providing home visitation services and the intended audience includes staff who coordinate intake\, home visitors and program leadership. \nThe agenda will include opportunities for providers and consumers to share and reflect upon their experiences with home visitation services in St. Louis and how these experiences can help to strengthen home visitation for families in St. Louis. Workshop topics will include: \n\nEffective communication\nEmpathy\nBuilding strong relationships\nUnderstanding mandatory reporting\n\nThis event will also provide an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the Reading Village\, an event scheduled for June 27th at Carondelet Park Rec Complex. The Reading Village will attract local families to learn more about available home visitation programs.
