Time is running out to apply for a 2017 collaborative grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health. The collaborative benefits organizations that want to implement a new project to improve outcomes for St. Louis moms and babies.
The first step of the grant application process, the letter of interest, is due by July 28.
The Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative (IMRI) collaborative grants provide funding for organizations that wish to partner with FOURISH St. Louis on projects that align with at least one of our five priority areas:
- Prenatal Care: Focus on increased utilization, improved quality experience
- Infant Health: Focus on safe sleep
- Health Communication and Navigation: Focus on timely and appropriate delivery of information, better information about resources
- Transportation: Focus on access issues regarding medical transportation
- Behavioral Health: Focus on access for support, issue areas of stress, depression and substance use

Collaborative grants are open to nonprofit partnerships serving women, families and infants in St. Louis. Funding can support a new program or expansion of an existing service or program, but cannot be used for ongoing operation costs or existing programs.
