Zero Racial Disparities in Infant Mortality by 2033

FLOURISH has been exploring ways to improve our community’s access to important resources, like transportation and prenatal care. Now, we are changing how we work to put the community at the center. We want the community to decide how we will address issues families face in having a healthy pregnancy and baby – so Black babies can have an equal chance.

To do that, we’re hosting a Community and Action Team Retreat to bring together community members and those who have been involved with FLOURISH. We will introduce some of the ideas and proposed structure for FLOURISH 2.0, the next phase in reducing infant mortality in the St. Louis region.

The most important step of FLOURISH 2.0 is shifting more decision-making power to the community. This will help us better address our North Star – to achieve zero racial disparities in infant mortality by 2033. To do that, we need your help to identify the priorities that will get us to this goal.

Register online to attend the Community and Action Team Retreat, which will take place on Saturday, November 3 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
