FLOURISH St. Louis is seeking a Community Consultant to lead a strategy to strengthen home visitation programs. Home visitation programs are core to our work to achieve zero racial disparities in infant mortality by 2033, and a Community Consultant will be part of a newly formed Home Visiting Collaborative. This collaborative brings together organizations across the region who provide home visitation to families to strengthen a network of providers and improve home visiting programs.

Are you interested in sharing your expertise and bringing together other families to make home visiting programs better for St. Louis families? Or, are you an organization that provides home visiting and know a current or previous client who you think has the skills and expertise to coordinate families to lead the development of a stronger network of home visiting? We are seeking either individual proposals or proposals from teams. Consultants should have experience with home visitation within the last five years. Our application deadline is September 6, 2019. Some of the activities required of the community consultant include:
- Develop a recruitment strategy to recruit people who receive home visitation or have received home visitation services within the last 5 years, to participate in the Consumer Advisory Board.
- Work with home visitation organizations to conduct outreach to potential members of the Consumer Advisory Board.
- Meet with interested consumers to share information about the Consumer Advisory Board and determine interest and fit.
- Convene initial meeting of Consumer Advisory Board.
- Plan and facilitate ongoing meetings of the Consumer Advisory Board to achieve the expected outcomes.
- Support engagement, retention, and leadership development of Consumer Advisory Board members.
